Talkington Bates have signed up with HIT training. The apprentices will be permanently based at various Talkington Bates sites, training for their NVQ Level II, with monthly assessments by their tutor.
Education
Talkington Bates staff are able to study for National Vocational Qualifications, with 14 courses available. 27% of Talkington Bates staff have already gained an NVQ through this rewarding scheme, with a further 42% studying at the present time. Courses range from Customer Service, Hospitality Supervisors, Food & Drink Service, Multi-Skilled Hospitality Service.
Accreditations
Our ISO 14001 and 9001 have been retained for the fifth consecutive year. 2012 is our 12th year as an Investors in People accredited company. We are delighted that we have retained Best Places to Work 'One to Watch' status.
At Talkington Bates we firmly believe that our team is our greatest asset. Staff receive regular appraisals, with achievable objectives to keep them motivated and an annually updated programme of training to ensure that each staff member is able to progress at their own pace.
